Chambave Muscat
D.O.P
Chambave is a small village in the Aosta Valley, located between Châtillon and Aosta. Its favorable location benefits from a special microclimate, renowned for producing prestigious wines with pronounced aromas.
Its appreciation dates back to the 15th century: a document from 1450 tells of a gift of barrels of Muscat of Chambave, both dry and raisin, offered to Bona di Borbone, mother of Amadeus VIII of Savoy, by noble residents of the Aosta Valley.
