The Nebbiolo, typical of Piemonte, has always been part of the Valle d'Aosta viticultar scene. Its name here is Picotendro and is planted maily in the alluvial area of Arnad and Issogne. We pride ourselves in the care and preservation of its alpine.

Surface area 1,5 ha, sistema a Guyot training system; 7500 plants/ha, on embankments and slopeways. Yield 5500 kg/ha.

Production process


Vinification

Destemming, fermentation of the whole cluster for 10 days at 23 °C, with daily pump up operations.giorni a temperatura controllata (23 °C), con follature quotidiane.

Tasting notes


Light ruby . On the nose blackberry and black cherry, violet and balsamic notes. Direct on the nose but also elegant, fresh, round and spicy. Long finish.
