Torrette Superiore
D.O.C.
Torrette is the largest DOC of the Valle d'Aosta, source of the homonymous wine. The main variety is Petite Rouge, native and also the most widespread of the region. It becomes Superieur due to the longer ageing.

Surface area 2,5 ha, sistema a Guyot training system; 7500 plants/ha, on embankments and slopeways. Yield 8000 kg/ha.

Production process
Vinification
Destemming of chilled grapes, fermentation for 8 days in stainless steel at a controlled temperature (26°C), with daily pump-overs.
Ageing
In stainless steel for 8 months.

Tasting notes
Ruby with violet hues. On the nose, floral (wilted rose, violet) and fruity (sour cherry) notes. These same aromas are present on the palate, accompanied by an unexpected freshness and a vivid minerality.

Mocetta, alpine Fontina, Valdostana Favò, Valpellinentze soup.
